All the time I am finding new and different things that inspire me. Articles, quotes, pictures, podcasts and more. Every week I am going to collect a few of my favorite things and share them with you. Most often, what I share will be related to holistic wellness. Research, recipes, recommendations. Often, much of what you find here will be things I share with my students. And on occasion, I will find something completely random. I look forward to giving you some inspirational Sunday reading to enjoy over your coffee.
Here is what I loved this week:
Tim Ferriss has an amazing podcast. I listened to this episode on Tuesday and it really inspired me to adjust my morning. Tim says that “If I can win the morning, I can win the day”. The podcast discussed the importance of a positive morning routine. In fact, I ordered The Five Minute Journal, something he recommends in the podcast and another one of my favorite finds for the week.
I believe part of well-being is getting away from all the STUFF we have. Because of this, I follow a great Facebook page called “Becoming Minimalist”. Check it out. In future Sunday Summaries you will see me reference their content often.
Food makes my world go ’round. One of the BEST places for amazing recipes is Thug Kitchen. Not only is it healthy, but it makes me laugh. Two important components of a well-being. I have made this recipe several times. Well worth checking out.
